Scholarship & Creative Arts Day 2023 – OT Student wins the Anna Carper Excellence in Library Research Award
Olyvia Serillo won for her research paper “Benefits of Equine Therapy Within Occupational Therapy.” She wrote it for her English 100 Writing and Language course with Dr. Tara Moore. Olyvia is a first-year Occupational Therapy major. In a reflection essay she submitted as part of her application, she stated that she wanted to research a topic related to her major and that she “was excited to learn about something new related to [occupational therapy].” She began her research using resources available from the High Library and spent a month working on the paper through multiple drafts. Congratulations, Olyvia, on your fantastic work!
Olyvia will be formally recognized at the College’s Annual Scholarship and Creative Arts Day award ceremony on Tuesday, April 25. Click here for more information about the Scholarship & Creative Arts Day activities including the OT Graduate Research Symposium.
