Etown hosts a Safe Patient Handling Conference

On Nov. 7th – Etown will host a one-day training conference in Safe Patient Handling.  This course is designed for OTs and PTs, and this conference will:

• help you understand risk factors for work-related injuries when transferring or moving patients
• demonstrate safer techniques and technology that benefit both you and your patients
• describe recent interdisciplinary standards for Safe Patient Handling and Mobility
• discuss strategies to implement safe patient handling in various practice settings.
