Day 16 of the Digital Curation of Puffenberger’s Religious Artifacts

Today, I focused primarily on the trailer since I had a lot of changes to make. Dr. Newton suggested that I made the trailer more about the collection rather than our SCARP project. So I did some editing and I moved some stuff around to talk more about Dr. Puffenberger and the collection in the video. Unfortunately, I could not add the music we wanted because of copy right issues so I just added music iMovie had pre-made. Today I also went back through all the descriptions and fixed them based on Hannah’s comments. I fixed all the sources to make sure they were in the correct Chicago format. I plan to go over the artifacts at least one more time to make sure it is as neat as possible. Today we also talked about the 10 page paper that is due for SCARP at the end of the summer, which at the time, seems a little overwhelming, but once we broke it down, it does not seem as stressful. We just need to make sure we leave ourselves enough time to complete it well. Tomorrow I plan to edit the artifacts online again and record the commentary for the video. I wanted to do that today, but I did not have a good microphone to record with which I should get one tomorrow.
