Tech Tip: FortiClient Required!
You read that right! Etown requires all on-campus students to have FortiClient installed on their computers. FortiClient is a device-management software that helps keep your device–and the college network–safe from malware and malicious activity.
ITS has recently sent an email to all students with devices that are not currently running FortiClient. If you received this email, there is no need to panic. If the device listed in the email is one that you currently use, simply follow the instructions within the email to install FortiClient. Alternatively, if you receive the email in regards to a device you no longer use or own, emailing this information to the Help Desk (helpdesk@etown.edu) will allow us to remove it from our database.
