Tech Tip: MacOS Ventura and FortiClient

On October 24th, Apple pushed its latest MacOS, Ventura. In addition to bringing new features to Mac devices, Ventura appears to have also brought a specific bug for FortiClient, our college’s antivirus software. As a result, some users have reported seeing repeated pop-ups from FortiClient asking for Full Disk Access.

Fortunately, we have found a fix for this issue. By following the instructions listed here, you should be able to prevent these repeated pop-ups. Better yet, Apple has announced that they are working to fix this issue from their end, so those who wait a bit longer to install Ventura may not have to worry about the issue at all.
