Tech Tip: Audience Feedback with Zoom
We’ve all heard the warnings that today’s technology is lowering the quality of person-to-person interactions. We’ve all heard of the subtleties that are lost when nonverbal behavior is eliminated. Thankfully, we have Zoom to help us out.
Zoom already had superb video and audio quality to reveal these details. But sometimes they get lost in a large video conference. To solve this, Zoom has introduced feedback icons that allow nonverbal behavior that doesn’t interrupt the meeting, and yet allows your individual voice to be heard.
Click the hand icon, and a notification will be sent to the host to let them know that you have an important question. Give feedback by clicking the slower or faster icons, so the meeting can run as efficiently as possible Ask a yes/no question, and quickly see the results as the participants hit the yes or the no icon.
