Excel – Autofill in Descending Order

If you perform a lot of data entry, then you probably use Excel’s AutoFill feature to save time and fill a series in your spreadsheet. By default, the Fill handle creates a series from lowest to highest, or ascending order. But, if you want a series to extend from highest to lowest, or descending order, it’s a snap to do. Using a similar process to the AutoFill ascending feature, the descending feature is a hidden gem in Excel feature.
