Daily Blog #27: Digitization of the Puffenberger Religious Artifacts Collection
Another productive day for the books! Today, I focused on proofreading our draft of the SCARP research paper. While proofreading I found many minor errors, such as spelling and grammar and fixed them immediately. I read through the paper another time just to make sure I did not miss anything. Amal plans on reading it tomorrow and fixing anything that I had missed. I hope within the next couple of days, Carol and Dr. Newton have a chance to read the paper.
During the afternoon, Amal and I picked out ten new artifacts that we plan on adding to the digital collection by next week. We selected almost all of the musical instruments to catalog because Dr. Shorner-Johnson, an Assitant Professor of Music at Elizabethtown College, is going to come in a couple of weeks for Amal to interview him about the musical artifacts of the collection. I was able to take photos of nine of the artifacts and also capture the 360-degree videos for the nine new artifacts also. Overall was a very productive day and put us way ahead of schedule for next week.
