The Beginning of the Digital Curation of the Puffenberger Collection of Religious Artifacts

To begin this SCARP project, we laid out goals that we wanted to achieve overall by the of the summer and a weekly goal to begin our exploration of Dr. Puffenberger’s artifacts. Much of today was orientating on what we want to do and how we can go about doing it. It was a little overwhelmed because there are a lot of unknowns with the project so far. I am unsure with how to use much of the technology given to us and unsure how to even effectively start incorporating my research in relation to the artifacts. But either way, we will figure it out! A list of our ideas and goals was made and I began to do some background research on some of the specific traditions I will be exploring through the artifacts. Tomorrow, our plan is to continue on some background research familiarize ourselves with much of the resources we will be using for this project such as excel, Word Press, some camera technologies and Microsoft teams. I am excited for all the information I will gain from the project and ready to get started!
