We’re currently working with Called to Lead director, Chaplain Sadd to increase awareness of Social Business on our campus. A social business looks to address a social problem and not achieve personal gain. Profit is reinvested into the company for future investment and operations.
In order to do this, we hosted a screening of “Bonsai People: The Vision of Muhammad Yunus.” The filmmaker, Holly Mosher was able to attend and speak to the 85 students

who attended the event.
In the future, we hope to host more events like this, create a social business plan competition on our camous, and involve individuals and organizations in the community who may be interested in investing in our students’ plans.
If you’d like to volunteer, or have any questions about Social Business, contact Salman Habib. habibs@etown.edu
