Elizabethtown College was well represented on the Central Penn Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 awards list with four alumni earning the distinction. 

Natalie Kopp ’07, Kevin Busher ’09, Steve Sanchez ’07, and Megan Miller ‘17 all received the honor.

The Forty Under 40 awards recognize Central PA’s leaders who are under the age of 40 based on their professional accomplishments, community service, and commitment to inspiring change. They are selected by an outside panel of judges that includes previous winners. 

Winners were recognized on October 14, 2021, at the Harrisburg Hilton. The award presentation will also be available at CPBJ.com.

Natalie Kopp ’07

Natalie Kopp ’07 – Bachelor of Arts, Communications

Kopp serves as Communications Director for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, a statewide nonprofit that represents and supports breast cancer survivors, their families, and breast cancer researchers. Her role includes the editorial and design of our print and electronic newsletters, media relations, video production, digital communications, graphic design, and legislative outreach.

“What an honor to be chosen for this award alongside three fellow Blue Jays,” said Kopp. “It is so wonderful to see alums living out the Educate for Service motto long after graduation day. I am humbled to receive this designation and excited to celebrate the many contributions and achievements of Kevin, Steve, and Megan this October.”

Steve Sanchez ’07 – Bachelor of Arts, Communications-Marketing & Public Relations

Sanchez currently serves as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at the JDK Group, a catering and events company located in Camp Hill, Pa. The JDK Group has provided disaster relief food services during COVID-19.

Kevin Busher ’09

Kevin Busher ’09 – Bachelor of Arts, Political Science

Busher is Government Affairs Manager for Duane Morris Government Strategies where he advocates for an array of clients, mainly in the fields of Healthcare and Education. His career accomplishments include passing the Civics in Education Act and the Medical Marijuana Legalization Act as well as helping his clients navigate the current COVID-19 pandemic. Busher has also served on the Lower Dauphin School Board for the last seven years.

“Etown taught me that we are all given a gift – it is important that we use it to better the communities we live and work in,” said Busher.  “So it is an honor to be recognized for my commitment to the community where I live and serve as School Director and for the work I do in representing my clients and their interests at the State Capitol in Harrisburg as their lobbyist.”

Megan Miller ’17 – Bachelor of Science, Business Administration-Human Resources Management

Miller currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at the Camp Hill School District. She was previously the Director of Human Resources at Vista Autism Services, a non-profit in Hershey, Pa., that provides high-quality autism services to individuals with autism and their families.
