Elizabethtown College Professor of Art Milt Friedly was invited to exhibit three works of art at the Anita Shapolsky Art Foundation’s Exhibition of Abstract work by Contemporary Pennsylvania Artists in Jim Thorpe, Pa.

On display is a bronze sculpture titled, “Moon over Syracuse,” a ceramic sculpture titled, “Harrowed Fields,” and a painting titled, “Name/Word.”

The opening of the exhibit is on Sunday, July 11 at 2 p.m. and will be displayed until August 22, 2021. The exhibition is open to the public, and donations are accepted. 

Friedly was also recently invited to exhibit his painting, “Ranch Hand” at the European Cultural Center in Venice, Italy.

The Foundation and Exhibition Center are housed in a renovated former Presbyterian Church that dates to the 1850s.
