Elizabethtown College’s Education Organization is hosting a virtual fundraising team competition throughout the month of April to benefit the Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T) Children’s Project (ATCP). The fundraiser will culminate with a virtual walkathon weekend on April 23-25.

Registration is free at atcp.com/EtownWalksforAT.

Members of the Etown campus community can lend their support by creating or joining a team, fundraising, and walking it out for A-T. During the month of April, participants are encouraged to share their fundraising page to solicit donations while inviting friends and family to join them for the walkathon.

On walkathon weekend, participants can accumulate their miles by walking anywhere they like. They can also share photos by using the hashtag: #EtownWalksforAT and tagging Etown EdOrg on social media.

A-T is a rare, fatal, genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, cancer, and immune system problems. ATCP encourages and supports excellent laboratory research which will accelerate the discovery of a cure or possible therapies for the disease.
