Etown Professor of Physics Mark Stuckey recently published a blog on ScienceX News, a popular blog that features science, technology, and medical news. Stuckey’s piece, “Einstein’s missed opportunity to rid us of spooky actions at a distance,” is based on his research with Professor of Philosophy Michael Silberstein, Professor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences Tim McDevitt, and Etown alum Tuyen Le ’14. It is a short popularization of their paper, “Answering Mermin’s challenge with conservation per no preferred reference frame” published in Scientific Reports on 25 Sep 2020 and explores Albert Einstein’s research on the mystery of quantum entanglement.
