Elizabethtown College announced recently it will review applications with or without standardized test scores for students applying for admission to enter the College in Fall 2021.

The decision was made in an effort to ensure the admissions process is as easy as possible for families during this unique time period.

The decision is in the hands of the applicant and there will be no penalty for choosing not to submit scores. Admissions will also be accepting self-reported test scores and GPAs from first-year students to streamline the process. This update also includes students who are submitting a transfer application for entry to Etown in Fall 2021. In addition, the College’s 2021 application is now open to all interested students.

The test-optional announcement comes after the College increased its enrollment for incoming students this Fall 2020 by 14.5 percent compared to last year. The College will welcome more than 450 new students to its campus this fall.

A top-rated Best Value School by U.S. News & World Report, Elizabethtown College has launched new majors including Exercise Science, Public Health, Media Analytics and Social Media, Physician Assistant, and Mechatronics in addition to its already recognized majors like Business, Biology, and Biochemistry, Engineering, Occupational Therapy, and Political Science.
