Elizabethtown College exceeded its goal in its Make A Deposit, Make A Difference campaign.  In an effort to provide $5,000 to local non-profits supporting critical needs and resources to the Elizabethtown-area community, the College launched the campaign announcing it would match 100 percent of all deposits made by students between April 4 and 10. On Saturday, April 4, during the College’s first-ever virtual Accepted Student Day event, the College met and surpassed its goal by raising $5,400.

“We are so excited to welcome our newest Blue Jays to our vibrant community,” Elizabethtown College Vice President for Enrollment Management John F. Champoli said. “The campaign aligns with our College’s motto, Educate for Service, and really connects with students who want to give back to others and be a part of something bigger than themselves.”

The College’s motto Educate for Service was adopted in 1915. Educate for Service expresses the College campus community’s belief that the pursuit of knowledge is most noble when used to benefit others.
