The Power of One Day Returns on March 24

On Tuesday, March 24, alumni, faculty, staff, students, families, and friends are encouraged to make online donations to support Elizabethtown College in its areas in need of greatest support. The E-town community is encouraged to share its pride and promote the giving event on social media platforms using the hashtag #EtownInspired.

The Power of One Day is Elizabethtown College’s annual one-day fundraiser challenge to raise money to support the campus community. Donations of any size are welcome and will go to supporting departments, organizations, and sports teams. Donations can be selected to go to specific locations as requested and donators are able to make multiple gifts to impact as many areas of campus as desired. Gifts are tax-deductible and are a simple way to support Elizabethtown College’s current students, faculty and staff, and coaches as well as future generations of Blue Jays.

The event also encourages spreading the word through social media, e-mail, text, and word of mouth. The hashtag #EtownInspired can be used to encourage website visits and donations beyond the college community. Social media promoting and sharing has a major impact on donations and awareness of the college and the event.

Hosted by the Office of Development and Institutional Advancement, The Power of One Day’s 24-hour fundraiser begins at midnight and closes at 11:59 p.m.

Gifts can be made online, on the phone, or through the mail. Gifts can also be made by calling 800-877-9658.
