Leigh Cassidy – Academic Advising Coordinator, SCPS

Leigh Cassidy is an Academic Advising Coordinator in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where she supports enrolled students from admission through completion.  This includes providing information on program requirements, policies and procedures, and making course recommendations.  In this position since March 2017, she has a role in developing educational plans and providing resources to students to promote success.  As a child, Leigh moved around a lot because of her father’s job.  Growing up she was able to enjoy much of our country, including Atlanta, Michigan, Massachusetts, California, New York and Delaware.  This may have sparked her love for travel.  Experiencing various places and cultures gives her a different perspective and is a reminder that there is a big world of possibilities out there.  Leigh claims that she is devoid of any musical talent, but would love to learn to play the piano like a virtuoso and sing like an angel.

Cindy, and Bill’s youngest daughter, Katie are both current students here at Elizabethtown.  As an author, Bill has written seven novels and credits Bleak House by Charles Dickens as his favorite book.  A fan of the Oakland Raiders, he also enjoys reading, writing, traveling and playing chess in his free time.

Chris Perzinski – Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach

In his fourth academic year as Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Chris is charged with the recruitment, development and mentorship of the men’s lacrosse program.  His career didn’t start in coaching, however, and he wanted nothing to do with lacrosse as he finished his time as a player in 2008.  Chris worked briefly in supply chain management for a private label toddler nutritional company before lacrosse called him back in the form of coaching a high school team in Charlottesville, VA.  He has played for and was named captain of the Polish National Lacrosse team in the 2010 and 2014 World Lacrosse Championships. Polish is a part of his heritage and he has always wanted to learn to speak fluent Polish, like his grandmother.  Throughout all of his lacrosse games, he has managed to never break a bone or endure a serious injury…and, he hopes to keep this streak going!  Outside of work and lacrosse, Chris enjoys playing guitar, seeing live music of any genre, and saltwater fishing in Ocean City, MD.
