Jones has extensive experience in developing, promoting, and executing health and wellness programs. She most recently served as the Assistant Director of Campus Fitness at the University of Pittsburgh. There, Jones was responsible for the oversight of the school’s recreational facilities. Prior to the University of Pittsburgh, Jones served as the Assistant Director of Pope Wellness Center and the Campus Recreation Coordinator at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina.

“I’m looking forward to enhancing the health and wellness programming at the new Bowers Center for Elizabethtown College to build well-rounded students, staff and faculty,” Jones said.

The expanded indoor athletics venue will reduce athletic operating expenses for the College, ease the demand on student schedules, and eliminate the need for transportation and rental of off-site facilities.

The facility will include:

  • a fitness center,
  • three recreation courts,
  • an indoor track,
  • multiple locker rooms,
  • a wellness center,
  • a smoothie café, and more.
