Paul Cramer, vice president for enrollment, was quoted in “Fixed-tuition trend not yet evident at local colleges,” published April 29. The article stated E-town, like most area colleges, does not have a fixed tuition, but reassesses financial aid annually.

 

Guest speaker at Elizabethtown College Dr. Carlos Siracusa was highlighted in the May 5 article, “Animal behavior expert debunks dog myths.” During the student organized presentation, Siracusa shared insights about canine companions.

 

CEO of Nuts and Granola and graduate of Elizabethtown College, Sarah Lanphier, was featured May 6 on WGAL TV-8. Lanphier recently was named to the Board of Trustees at E-town.

 

Dr. Jeffery Long, professor of religion and Asian studies, commented in the article, “Supreme Court’s prayer ruling sparks praise, apprehension in Lancaster County,” on May 9. Long shared his thoughts on the recent case concerning the town of Greece, N.Y.

 

Dr. Kirsten Johnson, associate professor of communications, was interviewed for a WGAL story that aired May 21. The report, “Lancaster small businesses tap crowdfunding,” discussed the increase in use of social media sites to fund new businesses.

 

Donald Kraybill, distinguished college professor and Young Center Senior Fellow, was featured in a Research in Religion Podcast, “Donald Kraybill on The Amish and Old Order Mennonites,” on May 18. Kraybill shared his knowledge and took questions from the public on the program.
