Milton Friedly, Professor of Art, was quoted in a LancasterOnline article, “Chinese-American painter puts the real in reality” on Sept. 26. The article focuses on Jun-Cheng Liu’s art exhibit currently on display Elizabethtown College’s Lyet Gallery at Leffler Chapel and Performance Center.

 

E-town was mentioned in the Lancaster Online article that announced plans to form a Lancaster Classical Guitar Society in the area, “Classical guitar community grows here” on Sept. 29. E-town was included as one area school that has adopted a guitar studies program in the last few decades.

 

Don Kraybill, professor of sociology, anthropology and religious studies, discussed in an article, “From grief to grace: Wife of Amish schoolhouse shooter breaks her silence,” why the book written about the incident would sell. The article, published Sept. 29, shares the story of Marie Monville and her upcoming book release.

 

Leo Sokoloski, director of campus security, was asked in the article, “Franklin & Marshall considers arming public safety officers” posted Sept. 27 on LancasterOnline, if there was talk at of arming campus security officers at E-town. This was asked in response to Franklin & Marshall College’s discussion of arming their safety officers.
