screen shot of E-town nowThe Office of Marketing and Communications announces the launch of E-town NOW, a dynamic newsroom that tells the Elizabethtown College story. New, original content is published almost daily in a variety of formats and categories during the regular academic year.

Taking a cue from the College’s mission and its strategic plan, E-town NOW will highlight stories that focus on our signature learning experiences and commitment to ‘educate for service.’ But the stories won’t stop there—from news of campus happenings and accomplishments of our community members to in-depth features on people and programs, E-town NOW covers the College at all angles. In addition to original stories, regular round-ups, called “E-town in the News,” share links to articles, appearances and publications from other media outlets that feature people of Elizabethtown. For more detail about the content we publish, visit the About NOW page.

E-town NOW invites you to share your ideas with us—we will consider all submitted tips. If you doubt that your story is newsworthy, send anyway—there’s a good chance that, if it interests you, it also will interest someone else. You can refer to our editorial guidelines for more information.

Today, news is about conversations, so we also encourage user participation through social sharing and commenting.
