Tech Tip: Goodbye Video Furnace, Hello ilos

Back in March, ITS let you know about some changes in how Video Furnace interacts with Firefox. Now, we bring even more drastic news for Video Furnace users. We’re waving farewell to Video Furnace, and saying hello to ilos, our new video server. Unlike Video Furnace, ilos seamlessly integrates videos into the Canvas course. Having videos as part of your course is now a beautifully smooth experience.

Do you need help adding media to ilos? Bring it to the ITS helpdesk in Nicarry 125 and fill out the provided form, and we’ll upload and embed it in Canvas for you.
