Tech Tip: Scale for Printing in Excel

Printing in Excel can be a little complicated. When working with Excel, the document can become large, and sometimes you may need to scale a large document before printing. To start, open the document you would like to print in Excel. Go to File, Print, and then before clicking print adjust the settings. The setting you may need to adjust including Scaling and Orientation.

By changing Orientation, you can allow more rows or more columns to fit on one page. By changing Scaling, you can fit all the columns or rows onto one page for easy viewing. The viewer on the right will display how your document will print. When everything looks as your would like, click the print icon.
