Updating Your Password

Now that winter break is upon us, it’s a good time to change your account password on the school network. Why?  Changing your password before leaving campus is good for a few different reasons. 1) You will have time to get used to the new password before leaving for the semester. 2) Changing your password ensures your account will be protected through break. 3) You will be less likely to forget your old password and get locked out of your accounts when you return for the spring.

Here are some handy links for changing your password on all of your devices:

Email

You can easily change your password in OWA, but if you receive College email on your phone or tablet, you’ll need to update your settings there too. Click on the links below for step-by-step instructions.

Make sure your new password meets the minimum security criteria! Not sure what that means? Check out this article on Password Changes to find out. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the ITS department at helpdesk@etown.edu or x3333.

The ITS Department wishes you a fun (and safe!) winter break. We can’t wait to see you back here next semester.
