This fall, ITS has scheduled many workshops about educational technology topics,web design & social media, the phone system.and Microsoft Office. The scheduled classes for November are posted below. If you are interested in attending any of these classes, please register here.

Blackboard Teaching Circle(3 of 4)Back to top This teaching circle is a more informal learning community where specific questions posed by the attendees can be addressed and discussed. The teaching circle will begin with a mini-lesson on a Blackboard feature or teaching strategy and then will conclude with a Q & A session and sharing time. This month we will demonstrate Adaptive Release Rules that allows the content in Bb to be shown or hidden based on certain criteria (ie. A grade). 11/5/2013

Cisco Phone, Web Design & Social Media

Cisco Phone Introduction This is a hands-on class, so you will bring your phone to use during the session. The Cisco phones on your office desk have lots of features. Learn what the soft-keys are and what the buttons do and then use them. Dial non-college numbers, listen to voice mail through the phone and from Outlook, and speed up or slow down the message. Listen to voicemail in Outlook. Transfer, hold, resume and forward calls, work with call stacking, change the background on the phone panel. Lots of time for practice and questions. 11/6/2013
