Join the Elizabethtown College Jay Walkers for lunch-time walks around our beautiful campus. Going for a walk during your lunch break improves health and afternoon alertness, plus it’s a great way to meet other employees from around the campus!! The EWT’s Knitting/Crocheting group meets monthly – during the academic year – for a lunchtime relaxation opportunity for novice to experienced yarn crafters. We also welcome anyone doing any kind of needlecraft, spindle spinning or similar fiber art. Meeting time and date changes based on the collective needs of the group. Taking a half hour or hour break to meet with other yarn crafters gives us the opportunity to mix and mingle with folks we don’t typically see, to learn from each other and to provide some group input on creativity, among other benefits. Watch Campus Connections for announcements for time and place for our next meeting and even if you’ve never successfully wielded a crochet hook or knitting needles, you are in good company and can benefit from the skills of others in the group!
