The camp artworks video game writing/video game design experience offers young people a creative and imaginative experience in the digital humanities. Under the guidance of Colin Williamson, campers will engage their own ideas and usage of language and image to create an artificial environment in which they can participate as both user and designer. This week-long immersion will enable 14–17-year-olds to both explore a continually burgeoning industry and empower themselves with an experience which demonstrates how powerful language and image can be when working together in an entertainment environment.
